About E-Portal

My E-Portal is designed as a platform for all residents, corporate and government users in Oman to access their electricity account information such as billing and payment history. Besides account information, it also allows users to send their service requests online such as new connection or disconnection requests, complaints and suggestions. Furthermore, users can say farewell to long queues to pay their bills as My E-Portal also enables them to pay their bills online using either credit or debit cards.

In addition to the above users can also find other important information such as current or planned outages, tariff information, events, contact information as well as links to each electricity service provider in the Sultanate of Oman.

Electricity service providers in Oman are organized according to all regions of the Sultanate of Oman. These Service Providers are Muscat Electricity Distribution Company (MEDC), Majan Electricity Company (MJEC), Mazoon Electricity Company (MZEC), Rural Areas Electricity Company (RAECO) and Dhofar Power Company SAOG (DPC). MEDC, MJEC, MZEC and RAECO are 99.9% owned by the Electricity Holding Company (EHC) and DPC is as from 20/08/2011, 98.64% owned by the EHC. The E-portal is a joint collaboration initiated by these companies to provide better service to electricity customers.

My E-Portal is designed to reinforce our commitment to the environment with its green theme. It will save users’ time as it allows them to access and maintain their account online. It will help to save the environment through the reduction in the number of paper bills and through providing other conservation tips that can help reduce energy consumed and, hence contribute to saving the environment for future generations.
